In order to legally secure themselves, companies must consider whether a document may be subject to stamp duty when preparing such documents and are often required to make a choice between legal security and tax cost or profit margin in their cost calculations.<\/p><p>In practice, it is observed that stamp duty is not taken into account in cost calculations due to the lack of sufficient knowledge of stamp duty by those who prepare and sign contracts and similar documents.
